What is this course about?
Entrepreneurship is necessary for today’s society where innovation is of great importance as a profit model for businesses. But also, more and more young people are willing to take the risk of becoming self-employed by setting up their own business. During this course, we will provide participants with the perspective and skills they need to be even more entrepreneurial in life. This may be through setting up their own business, but also through entrepreneurial behaviour within their current work environment.
We go from societal trends to designing a business model and financing it. And we will discuss the various aspects that are important in modern society, such as digitalisation, circular economy and the social contribution that many entrepreneurs make. And, of course, on the financing issues of how to set up your own business.
In addition, we have an eye for the context of entrepreneurship, such as specific questions of economic development and participating in entrepreneurial ecosystems. During the course, you will meet the top professors in the field of entrepreneurship from Dutch universities and build a global community of like-minded entrepreneurial people who will be able to keep in touch with each other in the future.
Kind regards,
Jeanet Nijland
