On the afternoon of April 8th, 2021, the group of experts from Sumitomo Corporation held an annual lecture at the National Economics University with the topic “Industrial Park Business”.
On the side of Sumitomo Group, there were Mr. MASUOKA Hiroyoshi – General Director of Thang Long Industrial Park Company; Mr. TANIGUCHI Koichi – Chairman and General Director of Sumitomo Corporation; Ms. TANABE Ayako – Administration & Planning Division. On the side of the National Economics University, there were Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong – NEU President; Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat – Chairman of NEU Council; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung – Head of International Cooperation Department and leaders of departments.

According to the agreement signed between Sumitomo Corporation and National Economics University, Sumitomo Corporation annually organizes 02 lectures with the aim of providing professionally practical knowledge to NEU students. During the lectures, experts share perspectives on economic and management knowledge with students which is illustrated by the Sumitomo strategy and the Japanese economic environment with the expectation of finding out suitable solutions for economic development in Vietnam.

n recent years, the shifting and expanding production of foreign investors have opened up great opportunities for Vietnamese industry in general as well as the operation of industrial zones in particular. Through this lecture, the students could better understand Vietnam’s economic development opportunities and requirements of human resource market. From that, the students actively equip the knowledge and skills to be able to meet the market’s demand.

The NEU President assumed that through the lecture, the relationship between Sumitomo Corporation and the National Economics University would be more and more developed and sustainable, contributing to tightening the diplomatic friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
