Singapore has launched a Smart Nation initiative to harness technology to stay ahead as a global city and to improve lives and livelihoods for all. Under Singapore’s Smart Nation drive, there has been many initiatives launched to bring the country closer to being a smart city.
The Smart Cities Programme (25 to 26 Feb 2021) aims to educate participants with an in-depth understanding of what is a Smart City and the approach and framework that Singapore has adopted. Participants will leave this course with recognizing the key technologies that are shaping the outcome which will form the bedrock for future Smart Cities and for them leverage on Smart Cities initiatives for their business.

The Programme is strongly supported by SkillsFuture. Singapore Citizens or PRs who are officially admitted to the programme are eligible to receive a course fee grant up to 70% to 90% of the programme fees (excluding GST). There are other subsidies available for qualified participants: For example, SFC (up to $1,000), NTU Alumni Credit (up to $3,200).
